Let's see... I have 2 degrees: Computer Programming and Accounting, Currently working for last 25 years as a system software consultant. I got married, had 2 kids and 10 years later got divorced.
Met my bestest friend, Clint and 2 years later we moved to Strongsville, OH because it is EXACTLY like WI, only it warms up earlier and stays warmer longer - and because it's my husbands hometown.
Clint proposed to me EVERY DAY from the very first time that we met. 6 years of proposals... Then I was diagnosed with cancer on a Tuesday and he said that I wasn't going through this alone... On the next Friday, Oct 8th, 2006, we got married. On Monday I started Chemo and Radiation. FRIDAY - June 6, 2008, was my two year anniversary for being in remission! (Prayers for "good health wishes" are ALWAYS appreciated.) BTW: Being Bald SUCKS. :)
My husband is a Vice President for McKesson Corporation and a biker. We met when I installed his company's software at the hospital I was at - We just sold our 2001 pearl white, Fatboy and bought a 2008, basic black Ultra-glide. It's a touring bike and I am spoiled.
I LOVE to garden... it's good for the soul. I STILL want a cigarette EVERY DAY - yes, I've quit. I still drink Pepsi like it was going out of style - but now it's Diet Pepsi.
My mother - who could forget her? - passed away in March, 2007. I am surprised at how much I miss her. (If you knew my Mother you'd know what I mean and that I wasn't being a wench).
I try to live, now, so that I have no regrets when my time is up in this world. So if I have offended you or hurt you, drop me a line, remind me of the offense and I PROMISE I will apologize. Life is too short for high-school attitudes to rule your adult life or to carry around hurt that should be forgotten and forgiven.
I had some very special friends in highschool... and you all know who you are! I was never in a clique & I had many, many friends who didn't even like each other. I also had many acquaintances I recognized from walking in the halls, etc. I miss you all.
I enjoy reading these profiles. I like knowing where everyone is in their lives now, so please fill yours out - and keep it updated! Mine might sound wishy-washy & I guess I am a wishy-washy person now. My life is good. I am happy.
2/8/10 - Am working on a project and would appreciate help from anyone who would like to share. Question: What are your pet peeves regarding being waited on by a less than stellar server? I am also interested in the question being answered by any child, teen or young adult - please include their age. I want to know what traits you - and they - dislike in waitstaff. |

School Story: |
|
I remember Sharon Simonson sticking her tongue out at me during choir because she hated me so much. Flash forward a couple of weeks and Joan Littl invites Sharon & me to the County fair - without telling us that the other one was going. Flash forward a couple hours later and we are on the ride "the Octopus". An hour or two later, I am sitting in the back seat of Diane's car (Joan's sister), holding a plastic bag for Sharon to throw up in. Skip to 1/2 hour later.... Sharon gets out of the car, I am holding the "puke" bag over my lap - and it breaks... ALL OVER ME. We've been friends ever since - and I miss her. (You out there girl?)
And, for SOME reason, I remember Tuesday Nights at the Bike Races and the guys wearing bib-overalls with no shirts on underneath... |

right before I got sick and the meds made me all fat and bald :)

Logan, 12, on the left, Augie, 14, on the right. 1st day of school 2008

Augie now....

Logan now...

My father, Ron, and the love of my life, Clint

This is my remission angel. Clint Designed her. I have her in the middle of my back - my husband has an identical one on his left forearm.

This is my "baby" sister, Cheryl - who is now twice a grandma!
